well comes to my attention certain people are calling em a tool and loser ect. because i reported someone who basically and plaining took credit for my hard work this person was ONLY THE MODEL. As per the agreement she didn't have to pay for the photos BUT give me credit. THIS person didn't i asked them and then told this person it fell on deaf ears, i checked me rights ect. before i acted and i found out i had every right to do so, and DA wouldn't of taken them off unless it was proven, i showed them the original images unedited plus the FULL STORY.

It saddens me people jump to sides and abuse and yell before the know the full story. I believe photography goes unlooked as art theft. But everyone would jump up and down if someone took someones drawing or story ect.

I am trying my best to get my photography and my work known out there, no one else has had a problem not to reference me, i try to be fair and understanding and i sometimes don't even charge people for my work. Do it for free and travel allot.

IT just saddens people have not heard the full truth and don't even know whole story "THIS PERSON" that took the photos is. All my work is hard work and give my very best and People know that it just saddens me that just ONE person cant follow the rules.

I know people on here as photographers, As my Models ect. Will agree with me. But for the people who just dont see eye to eye. Just think of it this way, you spend hours and hours in a shoot, you spent hours editing and cleaning up your work, then someone takes all the credit and you get NOTHING for your hard work. I know NO ONE would take this Laying down.

I wont talk about this anymore, i have sent notes to people who have abused me and also sent an E-mail to the "Model" who is abusing me. But thats all i am going to do Now, i believe i have done the RIGHT THING.

Thank you
Jessica

Photo shoots are now $10 (i cant travel to brissy for free anymore)

AH! >____<''' So it's between you guys. I wish I'd known sooner. Um, I don't want to take sides here as I like both of you. But I talk to the person involved with this & they're is feeling as hurt as you are. I think the best thing to do is for you both to just a calm down & talk to eachother about the situation, I'm sure if you politely request the credit there wouldn't be any need for the actual DA moderators to be involved. O_O'''

Like I admittedly do use photos from unknown origins (as my friends tend to find photos & send them to me or the photobucket name doesn't correspond with a DA name, etc) for displaying my cosplays. I don't mean any harm by using other peoples photographs, I want to display a costume & am very appreciative to those who have taken the great photo of it, however, I wouldn't mind putting the credit up if the photographer responsible asked me, but honestly I'd be very cut too if someone reported me for something I didn't know.

I too ask the people I take photos of to credit me, but I ask them as I send them the photos & so far they very eagerly have. Also to avoid it becoming an issue in the future maybe use a watermark (like floatyman's) before posting them on the internet, it may take a little extra time, but save you so much more time & hassle later on.

I hope I haven't made things worse. But I do encourage you guys to talk calmly about it, as you'll have see eachother at cons & it sucks to have to waste energy thinking harsh thoughts when you see someone instead of just having fun.

it depends with me..if the photographers sig isnt on the photo I link back to them but if it is I dont lol.

But like Ive said beofre Jessie babe if you want to stop people taking your photos without giving credit you gotta watermark them before posting them up on like photobucket or anywhere on the net.

well me and her cant talk she said some really horrible things about me and my partner and a few of my friends and it was best interest for me not to talk to her because i was worried abotu her metal state at that time after i took this photos, but its a contract we had the reason i didn't watermark them i didn't think people would be that cruel and do this too me. I HAVE NOW started to use watermarks on all my models photos now. I just haven't had a chance to do the rest of my photos because i have been overseas. But even if i use unknown photos to who took them i say "i do not take cedit, if you did take it let me know" i said to this person before she booked me since she wasn't paying for both shoots to give me credit but she didn't so she broke the contract made.
